About Me
Hello - My Name is Jack Farrell and I'm an actor primarily, but also a musician and as much of an outdoorsman as I can be living in the NY area.
I do both film an the "ater and just finished a run as the lead in a workshopped play "Alms" at NWTW playing a fallen Irish Catholic. Before pivoting full-time to acting I spent twenty some years as an IATSE #52 worked on some huge projects and learned to love set life.
In the 80's and early 90's I was a working actor and signed with a modeling agency for print. At that time I was performing and teaching with an improv company; the NY Team for Theater Sports , singing in clubs around town, and doing the usual actor stuff (my yearly Law and Order, soaps, occasional commercials, etc.
Since coming back to acting I've been training weekly with Deborah Kampmeier and most recently with the Barrow Group and occasionally feed my soul by playing with my band "Fishcakes and the Fried Daddies.
People often cast me as an intimidating bad guy - whick confuses me because I'm a really nice guy; I was a hippy! I also make a terrific uncle, fixer-lawer, bartender, or detective. I'm also an outdoor guy comfortable with a chain saw or canoe.
I love making new friends in the business, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like to work together!
